Using post formats you can specify the content type of a particular blog post. The selection of a format will present additional tools in the post edit screen to enter media files and specialized information. The different post formats will be displayed to your visitors in a custom way specific to that format and making it more accessible to your users.
Supported post formats include Standard, Audio, Gallery, Image, Link, Quote and Video. See the examples below of these different post formats and what you can do using them.

Over the course of numerous phases of restoration to the iconic Toronto Cathedral, the work performed at St Michael’s included the restoration of the basement crypts, and exterior facades. We also supplied new stone pinnacles, finials, cornice, and niches on the west elevation. The Liturical finishes, Altar, Ambo, Baptismal Font were also completed along with new holy water fonts in the Nathex. The existing floor was replaced using intricate waterjet cut slate, interlaced with exotic marbles.
